HUF

HUF is one of the top streetwear brands in the past 10 years. The founder, a New Yorker who goes by the name of Keith Hufnagel, was involved in the skateboarding scene of the Big Apple. At that time skateboarding was quite a marginal thing, and not as accepted as today, just like nowadays we have things like goths or punk rock. It was one of these subcultures of youths looking for a way to break away from the older generation. A mass of outcasts under-rated and misunderstood. But that is exactly and precisely what would lead the young skateboarder to live out his passion in a way that he never would have expected.

Keith decided to leave his hometown and head to the west coast, to San Francisco where he could freely and without constraint pursue his love for the board. He rapidly managed to enter the professional circle, which was a fantastic occasion for him to go all over the planet for competitions, videos and sponsors. He opened a first shop in the Bay Area, where his dream to sell rare and premium sneakers, streetwear and skateboarding gear became true. Christened HUF, the shop quickly became a reference in the area for all the people who were looking for top gear.

Today HUGF is one of the favorite brands of skaters, streetwear enthusiasts and hypebeasts. Their latest collection was totally dope, and features sneakers and socks, coats, hoodies, flannel shirts and printed sweaters. It's reminiscent of the early 90's New York grinding style, and will be perfect to look dope this summer. Check out the pics below for the full collection!

STAMPD LA

Stampd is one of the dopest brands out there. Dark, sober and always stylish, their creativity just oozes out in every single piece. While many Californian brands are fun and funky, these guys have always been able to add a lot of monochrome infused in their collections, which is more of a East coast style usually - they even made a "East Coast" collection, so there might be a connection there. But while many might see them as a black/white brand, they have been increasingly adding color and prints into their styles, not to mention a variety of lifestyle products which include a 100% grain leather "brown paper bag" lunch box, limited to 50 pieces!

Their last collection was totally dope, with tons of innovating pieces taking timeless classics and twisting them to their crazy ambitions. Neoprene hoodies, plaid bomber jackets and slim jogger pants are all some of the finest pieces included in their AW2015 collection which you can discover in full right here:

Nike / Jordan

Possibly the most famous logo in the history of humankind, or maybe a close second to McDonalds. If you live anywhere where there are people, its highly probable that if you walk out in the street you will see a pair of Nike's, and maybe even Jordan's.

Nike's landmark models are the Air Max (1 and 90), the Air Force 1, while more recent models such as the Roshe or the Huarache are also making a killing in the current fashion world. They are regularly released in limited edition colorways, which is one of Nike and generally the whole sneaker industry's best sales strategy. If you don't know what that's all about, just try to cop a pair of Jordan's on the day of their release on the Nike website and you'll see! It's almost impossible. The photo above is the latest Jordan release for the Pro Stars Retro 5 Jordans, and the one below is the Hot Lava Lunar Air Max 1.
